And if you didn't know him by that, then maybe by his affiliation as Mad Flava's deejay (Mad Flava was one of only a hand full of hip hop groups to get signed out of Dallas). Still not familiar? What about his radio experience on K 104 and 100.3 JAMZ in Dallas circa '93? Well suffice it to say that Baby G is one of the most experienced, well-rounded deejays out there today. Baby G moved to Austin, TX a few years ago and immediately he was running the dancehall scene with his monthly Soul Shakedown parties. He has quickly acquired more residencies such as Monday at Nasty's (with Mel) and Thursday night at Plush. You can sometimes catch him at Le Privelage, Mercury or Empanada Parlour spinning everything from downtempo hip hop to reggae dancehall. He is definitely a true pioneer in Texas hip hop.
