Together since 2001, Houston based Lower Life Form has been rocking the streets of Houston for 6 years strong. Originally a two member crew with PhD (vocals), and Ish (djay), they released their debut album "The Lowlife" in 2004 on Liphe Records.  The Lowlife features some of Texas' heavy hitters with guest vocals from V-Zilla, Damien of The Legendary K-O, and includes production by The Are, and Nick Nack among others.

They became twice as strong in 2005 with the addition of full time producer "C.O.S.", and fellow front man "Brew", and are set to release their sophmore LP entitled "Time Cards" in September 07'.

With the completion of "Time Cards", the group decided to rework things and move towards an idea they had shared for quite sometime. In March 2007, LLF made the move to a more organic feel with the backing of "The Lowlive". "The Lowlive" consists of Eggy on drums, Wayne on bass, Drew on keys, Cory on sax and flute, and Jon on trumpet. The result? A warm soulful sound, and an energetic live show guaranteed to turn it out everytime they take the stage.

With strong backgrounds in a variety of music genres, the members of LLF combine their common tastes to create music that is not only appealing to the soul, but easy on the ears, all while delivering a clear message with every track. What influences LLF? Alcohol, friends, and fun.....and a common love of good music.
